Plot Summary:

The movie follows Davis Okoye (played by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson), a former U.S. Army Special Forces soldier and primatologist who now works with primates at a San Diego wildlife sanctuary. He shares a special bond with a rare albino silverback gorilla named George, whom he has raised since birth.

When a rogue genetic experiment by the evil corporation Energyne goes wrong, a pathogen crashes to Earth and mutates several animals—turning George, a wild wolf (Ralph), and a crocodile (Lizzie) into enormous, aggressive monsters with heightened strength, speed, and destructive instincts.

As the creatures go on a rampage across North America and eventually converge on Chicago, Davis teams up with Dr. Kate Caldwell (Naomie Harris), a genetic engineer who used to work for Energyne. Together, they try to stop the mutated animals, save George, and prevent the total destruction of the city.
